The SMaSH style of brewing focuses on using a single malt and single hop to highlight specific flavors of the chosen ingredients.  For our May 2018 meeting, the beer recipe should contain the following components:

  • 2 Row Base Malt (target OG of 1.060 or less)
  • Any C Hop (Centennial, Chinook, Citra, Cascade or Columbus)
  • Brewer’s choice of yeast
  • Hop Schedule may vary
  • No Souring
